Maybe it's just birds of a feather. We've never been affiliated in any way, but we've always gravitated toward the same kind of mind-bending angular punk, the same twisted new wave, and the most wonderfully alienated post-punk. No doubt, L.A.-based studio/label House of Tomothy / Tomothy Records has always been one of those rare entities willing to twist the knife one more turn and take everything one step further, so supporting this label has always come naturally to Tremendo Garaje.
They're a tiny label, so their output is understandably limited. Rearranged Face, Prized Pig, The Freakees, No Knuckle... From the very first Celebrators single back in 2020 to this brand new duo's debut album, they've put out just seven physical releases. Every single one of them, though, is worth its weight in gold.
We've backed each and every release unconditionally because they've all completely blown our minds, and Deliberation, the first full-length from this elusive duo, is no exception. It's an absolute weirdo knockout:
