We're thrilled to share another remarkable milestone in the Women in Agronomy program!
Join us in celebrating the graduation of 353 participants from 46 countries in our Women in Agronomy program. The program aims to develop, retain, and attract more women in agronomy-related fields, serving as a networking and visibility platform.
Since its inception in 2020, the program has witnessed unprecedented growth, with over 600 graduates worldwide across three consecutive cohorts — from 60 in 2021 to an impressive 188 in 2022.
This achievement is a testament to our commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace, rooted in Yara's dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.
This year's program has been marked by important strides:
Empowering women from agronomy-related careers through global mentorship, offering new connections, career advice, exposure to leaders
Engaging 450+ participants in webinars focused on topics aligned with Yara's DEI agenda
Launching an external pilot involving 29 Colombian women within the salesforce of Yara's distributors, extending our reach and impact
The program's mentoring component has been a cornerstone, with 177 dedicated mentors, including 75 supportive male allies, contributing 1,600+ hours of career guidance, soft skills enhancement, and invaluable knowledge sharing.
