In my previous video, I asked the question of whether you can even hear the difference between different CD players. Many people swear they can just like with any other audio component. But CD is a digital medium, so how much does the analog stage even matter? You and I put that to the test and the votes have now been counted. Here are the results!

Here again is a link to the lossless FLAC file if you want to listen along with the video segment showing each player playing *without* YouTube's extra compression: https://shorturl.at/1WfqQ

I promised a link to some new players I'd consider buying. These are affiliate links, but I really would consider these if I was in the market for a new player. Probably like you, I do not have an unlimited budget so this is a list of enthusiast "value" players, but the Marantz would probably be my top choice:
Marantz CD6007 - it's built internally like an older player: amzn.to/414uS7Q
Cambridge Audio AXC35: amzn.to/44LfrDR
Yamaha CD-C603 - if you really must have a new changer: amzn.to/4fbmucM
00:00 How many cuts?
01:18 Voting results
04:18 Which player was playing?
07:05 What could you have heard?
15:49 A side story with implications
