1970's Quadraphonic sound may have been the music industry's first attempt at surround sound music, but it wasn't the last. In this video, I take a look at surround sound music from the 1970's to today, and (spoiler alert!) get a little hooked on modern formats like DVD Audio and Blu-Ray High Fidelity Pure Audio. (I also talk about SACD). Why has this still not taken off?! I'll talk a bit about some reasons for that too.

If you're interested in any of these releases, here are some links. Despite being out of print, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" Immersion box set is still readily available new:

The Beatles - "Love": amzn.to/2pTqKVg
Rush - "A Farewell to Kings": amzn.to/2ozHuzx
Pink Floyd - "Dark Side of the Moon" Immersion set: amzn.to/2pTld0X

Incidentally, I'll be selling the Panasonic RE-8190 8 track receiver/deck and speakers on Ebay soon, so watch for that.
