This film contains silent footage documenting the Cooperative Convective Precipitation Experiment (CCOPE), conducted near Miles City, Montana in the summer of 1981. The film depicts: research aircraft and aircraft instrumentation; the interior and exterior of the CCOPE operations center; a radar and radome; and project staff in meetings and at consoles in the operations center.
