This film contains two General Circulation Model simulations depicted on a globe, with and without orography. The film is accompanied by a test soundtrack; the narrator discusses the making of the film print. Film title on title frame is "Global Circulation Model, Two-Layer Version, January Simulation." Part 1: "Without orography, sea-level pressure, contour interval = 5 mb." Part 2: "With orography, surface pressure reduced to sea-level, contour interval = 5 mb." Film produced by NCAR.
