The CBBC channel starts up, leading out of the startup loop, with it’s new 16:9 screen bug. Leading into Young Dracula, with a strange clock. The clock is more to the right, than directly underneath the bug prior to the 4:3 screen bug. Thankfully I was able to find this rare phenomenon on Box of Broadcasts.

The AVGN Show, is practically lost media on the CBBC Channel, or CBBC on BBC One. This was taken after Bear Behaving Badly, which aired after the first program of the day, LazyTown (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbTeywB9QNo). Finally, the first ever footage of the Angry Video Game Nerd, has been found on the CBBC Channel. The show originally broadcasted around 2006 during the 3D blob era, and new episodes stopped airing around 2008-2009, and the show stopped rerunning in mid 2011.

On this day, 16 years ago in 2007, one of the most well known rebrands of CBBC had launched, known as the “Stylish” era. Lasting up until 2016 (at least with the logo), this was also the longest branding of CBBC, lasting for almost 9 years.
The new look actually debuted on BBC Two, around a minute earlier than it did on the CBBC channel itself. It leads out of CBeebies with a promo, with the tag “The new CBBC has landed.” and an ident into Arthur. The clock appears as well, however it is in an unusual position, and the clock displays one hour behind. Obviously the clock wasn’t prepared enough for the refresh. This would be fixed the next day, however.
