Since we’re at the end of 2024 and are about to go into 2025, I thought I’d sign the year off by uploading another special video! This was going to be the Christmas special video for this year but I couldn’t release it in time, so I’m releasing it on New Year’s Eve. This takes place in the morning, as opposed to the March 2024 continuity which takes place in the afternoon. I also really wanted to try out the Christmas templates I had for these channels, so this was the perfect time to do it. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video!

On this day, 16 years ago in 2007, one of the most well known rebrands of CBBC had launched, known as the “Stylish” era. Lasting up until 2016 (at least with the logo), this was also the longest branding of CBBC, lasting for almost 9 years.
The new look actually debuted on BBC Two, around a minute earlier than it did on the CBBC channel itself. It leads out of CBeebies with a promo, with the tag “The new CBBC has landed.” and an ident into Arthur. The clock appears as well, however it is in an unusual position, and the clock displays one hour behind. Obviously the clock wasn’t prepared enough for the refresh. This would be fixed the next day, however.
