This FLOW-3D CAST simulation shows the die being filled using the high-pressure die casting process. Using the Cavitation Potential Model, the cavitation potential output variable increases the longer the local fluid pressure is below the vapor pressure. The visualization highlights regions of cavitation potential above a certain threshold, identifying areas at risk for cavitation-related damage.
