To finish off my time in the House of Sacred Remains (for now), I finally reach its boss.
The boss door will be a scary-looking one with a skull and red energy flowing through it. Mercifully, there's usually a Save Room nearby to save and heal up with before you take the boss on, which is what I used at the start of this video.

The boss itself is a massive and creepy Undead Parasite. It slithers itself in and out of holes in the background to strike at Leon.
But you don't attack it directly, you have to follow around its organic core that will pop out from different holes on the mushy floor. Just be aware of where the parasite itself is going to strike from and any of the nearby enemies that will try to slow you down.

Beating this boss will reward you with the Blue Orb. This is one of 8 colorful Orbs that will augment your Subweapons and give you brand new attacks with them. I plan to get all of the Orbs, but they won't all be found just by beating a boss.
For example, merging the Blue Orb with Holy Water will turn it into Energy Gazer (Geyser?).
After completing a boss battle, you will get a teleporter that will send you right back to the front door of Rinaldo's cottage. From there, you can check up on him and do more shopping with him.
If you want more control will returning to Rinaldo, use a Magical Ticket.
If you want to return to the last Save Room you use, use a Memorial Ticket. This specifically works on the last Save Room use visited, healed with, saved with, and left from. There can be some good strategies with this to save time that I'll end up using later.

Going back into the main hub, the Orb you collected will also light a post, there. Light all 5 posts in order to unlock the door that will lead to a sixth final area that will lead Leon to Walter (and hopefully to Sara).
For now, it's time to prepare for a march through another one of the castle's areas.
