My 2024 Halloween Special part 1 of 4.
Here's a game my bro picked up nearly 5 years ago and it's Shikigami no Shiro Evolution aka: Castle of Shikigami Evolution, originally released on December 19th, 2002, just 6 days before Christmas this year. Originally developed by Alfa System, which that studio made Street Fighter on the PC Engine CD, that Godzilla fighter on the Super Famicom and various others. And published by MediaQuest. This supernatural themed vertical shmup was originally released sometime in 2001 on Arcade machines, then got a port to the PS2, then the original Xbox under Shikigami no Shiro Evolution which also contains a bonus DVD featuring various wallpapers and some of the FMV of this game. In this playthrough I played as Kokuga in original mode and briefly played Evo mode as the shrine maiden, no it isn't Reimu Hakurei from the Touhou franchise, just a different character. Sorry about the color shift later on in this playthrough. I happen to have some rather crappy component cables that I bought 4 years ago. Gonna have to buy either a new pair of component cables or an AV to HDMI adapter. I've always wanted to record a playthrough to this game, now I finally did. This game is quite enjoyable.
