Minutes away from the downtown areas of North Adams and Williamstown is the Cascade Trail and Falls. You can park at the Northern Berkshire YMCA. The trail starts next to the Brayton Elementary School. The easy 1 mile trail follows the Notch Brook, The falls is back in an alcove.
Nice antique store and plenty of places to eat in downtown North Adams.
