Earlier this year we had to have our favorite Sugar Maple taken down ( youtu.be/S-sXHgXmmdQ ). We cut and split most of the wood to heat with, but felt we owed the tree more. So I hired Will at LaRue Woodworking to bring his portable Lucas Saw Mill over to cut the tree into live edge slabs. They will make some beautiful tables or furniture.
