More Cartoons that never Made the Cut:
Starting off there was supposed to be a Reboot of Penguins of Madagascar developed by the artist being the Spider-Verse movies: A lot of the images from the pitch had been leaked and this looked like it would have been an amazing show based on the art and setting. But of course we got more SpongeBob reboots instead.
There was a lot of cool references too, such as Alex the Lion as Simba in the Lion King bordway, a SpongeBob Parade Balloon, and Peabody add for his Nexflix film:
Next we were supposed to get a Sly Cooper Animated Series which was actually a replacement for the Sly Cooper Movie that we were supposed to get around 2016. After the Ratchet and Clank Movie Did so Poorly, Sony canned the Sly movie for a series which that also got canned.
Then was a Miniseries called Kenny and the Chimp, a Pilot exists with Tom Warbuton, but the full series wasn’t picked up, but in a way this is a Good thing because many elements and characters from this series became Codename Kids Next Door in the future.
And Lastly we once got a Welcome to Eltingville Pilot from Adult Swim, based off of the Famous Evan Dorkin comics, but the Poiolot did not turn into a full series:
