Cartoons that Almost Happened:
Starting off we have Chowder First Course, this would have been a Chowder Prequel/Spin Off where the Chowder Cast attended early education culinary school to take cooking lessons. However Cartoon Network told CH Greenblatt that it did not have the budget to make this show.
Next we have a 2019 Goof Troop Reboot that would have been Produced by the Creators of Star vs The Forces of Evil and Steven Universe Future. It could have told the story in between A Goofy Movie and an Extremely Goofy movie, so the Summer in between Max’s High School and College Years, possibly explaining what happened to Roxanne. However Disney Scrapped the Project for Unknown Reasons.
In 2021 the DC Animated Universe was attempting to produce a Smallville animated series, which would simply be either a continuation or a soft reboot of the Live action Smallville series, and most of the Cast would return as Voice Actors for their characters. But after 2022 they just stopped giving updates without any explanation on what happened to the potential series.
In 2023 we could have gotten. Yet another Baby version of a Cartoon being Scooby-Doo! and the Mystery Pups, This series would have been an educational show for preschoolers, but Warner Bros. Animation scrapped it.
And Finally we almost got Herbie The Love Bug Animated Series that would be based off of the Herbie Fully Loaded 2005 Movie. The Closest thing we got was Herbie Appearing in Episode 18 of House of Mouse.
