1940s: This is a Close Call Between Dumbo’s Mom: Mrs.Jumbo or Bambi’s Mom, both are Iconic Cartoon Moms who wanted the best for their Sons.
1950s: We have Emma Webster better known as Granny from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, She is not just a mother, not just a GrandMother, but also the Owner of Tweety, Sylvester, and Hector the Bulldog.
1960s: This is easily Wilma Flintstone from the Flintstones, debuting in 1960. She pretty much set the tone for Cartoon Mom’s ever since, that is how iconic her archetype is.
1970s: Duchess from The Aristocats, she is the Mother of 3 Kittens: Merie, (Berr-Lee-oouse), and (Toe-Loose)
1980s: Is the Nanny from the Muppet Babies, while we never seen her face and she may not be their Biological mother, she was the True Mother that actually raised the Muppets
