Every time Mr Baker whips up a batch of his Carrot & Orange Cupcakes, they always go down a storm, so now he has reimagined them into a quick and easy loaf cake you can enjoy whenever you fancy!

Lightly spiced and packed full of flavour, we know you’re absolutely going to love it… but don’t just take our word for it – why not give it a try this week?

Carrot & Orange Loaf Cake Ingredients:
For the loaf cake:
- 175g light soft brown sugar
- 100g wholemeal self-raising flour
- 100g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tsp mixed spice
- zest 1 orange
- 2 large free-range eggs
- 150ml sunflower oil
- 200g carrots
For the buttercream:
- 150g slightly salted butter
- 300g icing sugar
- zest 1 orange
- 1tbsp orange juice
To decorate:
