Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico - Self Guided Tour
I like caves. And by I like caves, I mean I like caves where I don't have to wade through muddy water, crawl through claustrophobia inducing tunnels or otherwise risk my life. I like caves with sidewalks in them. So we went to Carlsbad Caverns. It gets a lot of hype and after visiting, I know why.
There's also a gift shop in the bottom of the cave where you can buy snacks and sandwhiches which is both terrifying and intriguing to me. I figure if you work at a 7-11, you might as well set your sights on being a cashier in Carlsbad Caverns because it'll give you good stories you can tell your friends. You probably won't be robbed at gunpoint as often as your standard convenience store clerk too. So that's a bonus.
