Courthouse Butte Summit / Hung Jury Canyoneering Route - Sedona, Arizona
This was a really fun technical route. The approach is right off the parking lot and you get into the business almost immediately. It's a fun scramble until the crux, where most people will want some trad gear and a good lead climber for protection. Then it's up to the summit of Courthouse Butte. Finally, you rappel (2~4 rappels, although all but 2 can be avoided/downclimbed). So you have iconic views, a sweet summit, some mild climbing and rappels, all wrapped into one.
As a side note, Eric established this route. He is the undeniable king of Sedona Canyoneering. He actually has a website named Sedona Canyoneering that's a great resource for that area. Here is a link to his write up of the route:
