2001 ad features a medical intern on call chowing down on a Carl's Jr. sourdough pepperjack burger.

Carl's Jr. was moving into their direction of relishing in their very burgerness. "If you're going to eat something that is maybe bad for you, why not enjoy it" was the message.

Or as they put it "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face." This is shown by the visible (and audible) drippings from the burger as he eats it.

This spot aired on FOX during a Sunday, January 14th, 2001 airing of The Simpsons.
