STMicroelectronics, WURTH Elektronik and Element14 have created a Special Project which comprises an STMicroelectronics Motor Control Evaluation kit.
This comprises the following modules
EVLSPIN32G4-ACT Motor control Evaluation Board
STLINK-V3SET Programmer/debugger
STEVAL-STWINBX1, STWIN.box - SensorTile Wireless Industrial Node Development Kit
STEVAL-C34KAT1 Vibrometer and temperature sensor expansion kit
Multicomp MP710256 power supply
DB59M024035 BLDC motor from Nanotek

The STEVAL-STWINBX1 SensorTile Wireless Industrial Node Development Kit is what we will look at in this video following up from the hardware and software requirements. here we get graphing and data capture working

The modules provided are all you need aside from free downloaded software and a suitable PC running Windows, Linux or MAC to evaluate the EVLSPIN32G4-ACT Motor control Board.
The video and documents referenced are here:-

This video looks at the sensor devices on the evaluation board and what software is needed to capture data and graph it. I had issues due to inconsistent SDK vs documentation revisions so this is the followup

The STDATALOG-PYSDK a comprehensive Python framework designed to facilitate the capture, processing, and visualization of data from a wide range of sources

There will be several videos to follow looking at each hardware stage of the tool chain so "Programmer" - Industrial Sensor Board" - "Motor Control Board" and finally the Sensor extension board.

I will also be looking at the Wurth Components used on the EVLSPIN32G4-ACT Motor control with regard to fit for purpose in this design and then overall sense of quality for all modules as well as ease of use.
I will add links to the other videos and descriptions as I go so stay tuned.
