Can't Make A Decision? Ask Yourself These Questions!
Feeling torn between two choices? It happens to the best of us!
While there's no one-size-fits-all answer for making the right decision during a dilemma, there are a few tools you can use to make the process easier.
The first step is getting clear on who you want to be. Ask yourself: what kind of person do you envision yourself becoming? Now, picture yourself taking each path you're considering. Which one feels more aligned with your future self?
Secondly, fast forward ten years from now. Looking back at this decision, which path do you think you'd regret less? Stepping outside your comfort zone might feel scary now, but could lead to immense personal growth down the line.
And finally, when faced with multiple projects to choose from, ask yourself, “If they all failed, which one would I choose?” It's the one you'd be most invested in, even if success wasn't guaranteed.
So, these are a couple of questions you can ask yourself when faced with a dilemma. They will help you approach your decision with greater clarity and confidence.

This short talk is based on organizational psychologist Adam Grants research published in academic journals and his book Give and Take.
If you want to have more balance and continue to be a giver with boundaries vs. a giver who gives too much of him/herself away, book a time with me for a free consultation: https://bit.ly/trialsession

Do nice guys actually finish last?
According to Adam Grants book Give and Take, nice guys do finish last.
Men and women who identify more as givers, they actually under perform.
They do less quality work.
The ironic part?
The givers were also at the top.
The question is, whats the difference?
Whats the difference between the givers who are the high achievers doing the best work, getting promoted the most, versus the givers that are down at the bottom?
The difference is the ones at the top are less agreeable.
Theyre not people pleasers.
They have boundaries.
While its definitely not a bad thing to be a giver, you have to be a giver with boundaries.
You have to stop people-pleasing.
The classic plight of the giver is that they give to themselves last. Do nice guys really finish last? Heres what science says.](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pPwPnn_2xYQ/mqdefault.jpg)
