Learn how to use exposure compensation and the camera's priority modes (Av or Aperture priority, Tv or Shutter Priority and P or Program) to finesse how your camera responds to light and get the look that you want. Your camera calculates the average exposure of a scene and assigns a relative exposure value. A relative exposure value of 0 is considered middle grey or a "properly exposed" image, but in this video I show you that there are times when that's not always ideal...which is where exposure compensation comes in.
