In this Premiere Pro CC Tutorial I show you 4 different reasons WHY you might encounter the "MEDIA OFFLINE" error in premiere pro (renamed file, moved file, removed drive, or deleted footage), how to avoid these issues and most importantly how to fix them by using Link Media. Why does this happen? Well, Premiere Pro generates a file path for all media imported into a project. This file path contains the name of the clip and all of the folders that it is located in. If at any point the file path is changed or broken in any way, premiere gets confused, because it can no longer locate your footage...as a result, you get the Media Offline Error Message.
