Well recently Candy Crush seems to have been updated so that the game "waits" for candies to fall before making matches. This has done wonders for boards like this, where cascades and special candies are imminent. Now special candies are even more plentiful thanks to this update. Combine that with points from jelly cascades and you've got yourself a high score.
