We are back in Korea and have rented a camper van. In fact: a mini-camper van, better known as chabak in Korea!
Before we set off on our 15 day camping trip, first, we checked into our apartment. For 65 USD in Incheon, we are impressed at it's size.
From there, we headed to Bupyeong Cultural Street. On the way, we discovered a Korean mystery fruit. We bought three. We think it's a melon? We still haven't eaten it. Maybe tomorrow.
We wandered around Bupyeong for a bit, musing about how the market seemed divided by age. And then, WHAM! We saw some food we knew we had to try. Chicken galbi with cheese fondue.
VERY TASTY!
We loved it. Somehow, on our previous 2 trips to Korea, we didn't try chicken galbi. Big mistake. It's yummy and fun to eat. We will eat it again, some day.
Next: we went to pick up our mini-camper.

Driving internationally is not something new to me. I've driven in many places around the world. I even took on driving in Pakistan, which was pretty chaotic, but I handled it. So, Korean driving didn't make me nervous.
Maybe I'll do a full video about driving in Korea in the future. It's not a great place to drive. The map app on your phone is constantly warning you of speed cameras. People tend to brake heavily before the cameras- because the cameras enforce speeds that are as low as 30km/h. The cameras seem to exist as a tax on peoplewho forget to slam the brakes. Bleh.
No sweat, I'm not here to complain. I can follow the rules.
And so we finally arrived at our campsite. It's pretty well maintained. There was some garbage around, but the facilites are pretty good. Showers, bathrooms, a place to clean your dishes. Not to mention: electricity near our site where we can plug our car in and run our heater. very good!
The lovely Ivana made ramen + pork + veggie wrap for dinner. Tasted great. More camping in Korea to come!
