Three foreigners living in a mini-camper for 2 weeks, driving around Korea. Exploring small villages, tourist attractions, big cities, local campsites and more! Sounds like a fun Korean camping experience!
In this video, we started in Daejeon and ended up in Gwangju. Along the way we found a great cafe with beautiful green hills around it, where we tried a korean pancake that was surprisingly good.
From there, we drove to and set up camp in Gwangju. We had such fun with our daughter, showing her different leaves from various trees. She had a big smile on her face and was laughing the entire time. Loved it.
Ivana made ramen 2 ways for dinner. Steve prefers the goopy, whereas Ivana prefers the soupy. She added a bunch of veg and eggs and so it was a delicious and complete meal :).
Then, STEVE MADE A BIG MISTAKE! He didn't assemble the rooftop tent fully; he figured he was only using it for storage and not sleeping there anyway. The trouble is, it rained all night and all of our stuff got wet. Big fail.
(To be clear: the tent is waterproof, Steve just assembled it incorrectly.)
The next morning, we went to a really nice cafe with great coffee, and started warming/ drying up. Surprisingly, the sun came out and we headed to Jeonju Hanok Village.
We enjoyed the Hanok village. It's very touristic, but very picturesque. We bought our sweet daughter a new hat, and had bimbimbap Korean food for the first time.
