Can a Retract-A-Gate be used outside?? Absolutely! This customer likes her indoor gate so she got one for her deck. She loves this gate because it looks good and it is very easy to open and close as needed. A lot of other gates are bulky or in the way but the Retract-A-Gate is not. Her older kids can use the gate which is very convenient, but her baby cannot which gives her peace of mind to leave him outside if she needs to go inside.
