For her installation areas, she had to use a couple different accessories to install her gates. She didn’t want to screw into her banister posts, so she used a Banister Adapter Kit which is strapped to her banister. The Mounting Brackets attach to the adapter without screwing into the wood! For her other installation, she used Wall Spacers to push out the Mounting Brackets from the wall so the baseboards wouldn’t interfere with the gate. www.Retract-A-Gate.com.
