Tampa Police Detectives are asking the community to take a good look at this video and see if you recognize this person.
The suspect in this video is wanted in connection with a robbery that took place Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Cool Springs Road, inside the Belara Lakes Apartments complex. The suspect was described as a bald black male, 30-49 years of age, 5’7”-5’8”, with a thin build and a goatee.
The suspect threw the victim to the ground before punching her and stealing her backpack. He was then seen running toward the Haven Waters Edge Apartment complex.
The victim, a Hispanic female in her early 40’s, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, including lacerations, and bruising to her face.
Detectives have been gathering evidence, including the surveillance video that captured the suspect, and continue to follow up on leads in the case.
