There are thousands of ways to modify your weapons in Fallout 4, but it’s not a perfect system. For example, you can’t put a sniper scope on a 10mm pistol and make it plasma scattergun that uses mini nukes. But what if you could? Can You Beat Fallout 4 With The Impossible Gun?

Back in April, Mitten Squad turned 9 years old, but here’s the thing: I made Mitten Squad when I was 16 and on May 15th I turned 26 and you know what that means. We can officially celebrate 10 years of Mitten Squad on a technicality and what better way to do that than with the release of the Fork Barbarian’s cooler older brother, the Nuclear Fork Barbarian made by Makeship. The Plush is on sale now for $27.99. This is a limited run product that will only be on sale until July 7st. If you don’t buy one by then, it’s gone forever.
Just to be up front with you, I’m not talking about any one specific gun. “Impossible gun” refers to what happens when you combine the Any Mod Any Weapon mod with the Enemy Weapon Randomizer mod. You yourself can create just about any weapon you can imagine, while enemies will spawn with weapons more akin to something you’d find in Borderlands than Fallout. It’s a beautiful nightmare adventure through and through. Unfortunately though, it doesn’t apply to melee weapons which is a crying shame. I really wanted a 10x scope, laser attachment, and to strap a fat man to the end of a bat and make it go Nagasaki with every swing. Maybe in another life.
The story of Mr Impossible begins in the bathroom, as all great stories do. I went with a preset character, looks don’t matter when your very existence questions reality itself. But like they say, perception is 9/10ths of reality and my perception is a little bit off. Regarding my SPECIALties, I made some unorthodox choices which would upset my extended family given what religion they follow. Then the bombs fell, I tried my hardest to not be on the platform, briefly became Mr Freeze, dead spouse, and escaping the vault as usual. I’m gonna jump ahead a few minutes because it took a bit for me to make the mod work. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss much. We’re just inside the Museum of Freedom now and the madness has begun to get its ass in gear as the weirder weapons are starting to appear. Gotta point out that I can’t mention every outlandish weapon I get my hands on, we’d be here for ages. Just be a brave little individual and let your eyes carry the load for you. Oh you can’t carry things on your eyes? Sucks for to be you.
After speaking to everyone’s favorite Gravy, I headed outside to dispatch of the raiders and other assorted Riff-raff with both the power of enthusiasm and this weird ass thing that spat fire. Turns out that I can be one-shotted by the deathblow, that’s a shame. It took me camping in this building while I spat fire through the open windows because lizards aren’t allowed indoors. With it dead, it was off to the police station to find the once and former Buzz Lightyear. These neantherthaulic puppies managed to kill me once which surprised me. Completely randomized weapons doesn’t mean they’re all gonna be good. In fact a good number of them aren’t. I did make a quick stop to play in the sewers like I did in North Carolina as a youth as well as end a bear. I stopped by Graygarden to pay the plant loving robots a quick visit. We haven’t seen them for a while and we won’t see them for a long while again. I happened to find this gun that kicks serious ass, had a convo with Danse, we traversed the landscape towards Arcjet, battled the Synthetics inside, and I made the smart call of engaging the rocket firing test without sealing the blast doors. You’ve gotta be pretty far away from the doorway to not get cooked alive. There’s nothing else we can do with Danse anymore, best head to Park Street Station to find he who shall not be named. Rightous Authority looked pretty weird by the way. In retrospect, a mod that lets me swap legendary weapon effects would’ve been a great 3rd addition to this challenge.

![Can You Beat Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage?
Lonesome Road is considered by many to be Fallout New Vegass most challenging DLC. The enemies encountered have survived in one of the most treacherous areas in any Fallout game and wield high-powered weaponry. But the question isn’t how hard is it, the question is… Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas’s Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage?

Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas’s Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
I then left Doc Mitchell’s house, made The Reunion my active quest to have a waypoint, and made my way to the Canyon Wreckage. I stood there for a moment, thinking about what kind of nightmarish [boop]storm I was about to walk into, I p[rear]ed through the wreckage, and took my first look at The Divide. I found the Hopeville Silo Bunker Entrance, tried to open the blast doors, failed, looted a few ammo crates, found an Arc Welder, and activated ED-E who has an [rear]ortment of memories inside him which sometimes inhibit his ability to be useful. I used him to activate an Automated Commissary that unfortunately didn’t have any useful weapons, but it did have a [flip]-ton of ammo available, so I sold my armor and healing items to buy some ammo that I thought might find a use for some time down the road, as well as some that I could use now.
After ED-E activated the blast doors and I restored the power, I saw a few of ED-E’s brothers, wandered around the missile for a bit, and got into combat for the first time. You know you’re in for a bad time when the first enemy you find is a Sentry Bot. I used quote a few rifle grenades on it then let ED-E do the rest of the work for me. A few Marked Men and a dead Sentry Bot were just up ahead. Something pinned a Marked Man to a wall by pushing a steel rod through both the Marked Man and the steel wall it was pinned too. Another bad sign.
I managed to take out another Sentry Bot all by myself, I p[rear]ed through some sort of an office, and Opened the Silo’s Bunker Doors. That was a mistake, because 4 or 5 Sentry Bots came online and dispatched of ED-E in seconds. I may or may not have had a hand in that by blasting him with a grenade or two. Either way, ED-E was down and out and I found myself trapped in a corner with multiple Sentry Bots between me and the rest of the Divide. I can guarantee that if it weren’t for that grenade rifle, there was no way I’d have been able to get p[rear]ed them. I was able to pop out from behind cover, shoot a grenade, and retreat before any of them could hit me. There were still two turrets left, and I had already gone through almost half of my grenades, but the Sentry Bots had been returned to their endless slumber.
I used the same tactic I used in my Companion Only video by backtracking through the Silo and exiting through the entrance to revive ED-E. The turrets were less of a threat than I thought they’d be, I looted all the mechanical corpses, went outside to Hopeville, and had a conversation with Ulysses for the the first time. He provided me with some backstory about myself, spoke dramatically about things that have transpired and events still have yet to take place, and explained that the Divide may prove to be the end of the line for me.
The small upside about Lonesome Road is that it’s fairly linear, your objective is pretty much to just put through the Divide by whatever means necessary until you reach Ulysses. The 2nd part of that linear path takes us through Hopeville, where there are quite a few Marked Men. They have high-powered weaponry and are pretty accurate, not that the weapons they carry matter all that much. It doesn’t matter if it’s an anti-material rifle or a nerf gun, the bullets [incapacitate] me instantly.

![Can You Beat Halo 3 Without Taking Any Damage?
It’s often said that of the first three Halo games, Halo 2 is the hardest to complete on Legendary. And seeing as I almost beat Halo 2 without taking any damage, Halo 3 should be a cake walk, right? Can You Beat Halo 3 Without Taking Any Damage?

Can You Beat Halo 3 Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
Here’s how this works: every time I take damage, I reload the last checkpoint. It might take dozens of attempts to get passed a certain area, but doing it this way ensures that I do make it through without taking damage. Also, I’m not going to talk about every fight I get into. We’d be here for more than 5 hours if I did that.
Arrival is the first and easiest level because there are no enemies that could cause damage. Look at that, we’re already 10% of the way through the game. Next is Sierra 117, where we get into combat for the first time. Just like in Halo 2, there are a few ways to go about this. The first is to sit back with a precision weapon and pick off enemies. The second way is to sneak passed any enemies to avoid any potential damage. The third is to run forward and purposefully take damage to learn where the enemies are and what you’re going to be up against in that area. The last, and least effective way is to go in guns blazing. In a room with Grunts, that can work, but anything more than that and you’re asking for damage.
The first area is straightforward and not that difficult. What we learn here is that you can actually dodge shots from weapons like the Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle, and Spiker, which opens up a whole bunch of possibilities. 20 minutes in and we finally get the Battle Rifle. Take out the Brutes and Grunts with a few well-placed grenades, then the Jackals with Carbines, and we’re ready to rescue Johnson. My plan was to take out 2 of the Brutes near Johnson and then deal with the small army just beneath the cliff. But before I could snipe the Brutes, I had to kill the Jackal on a nearby rooftop. I used a Brute Shot to clear out the Grunts and Jackals, then let the Arbiter and Marines do most of the heavy lifting with the Chieftan. Once Johnson was free, all that was left was to sit inside the building and wait for the Pelican to arrive. I also put the Arbiter in the drink with a Gravity Hammer, because why not.
With Sierra 117 complete [45 minutes], Crows Nest was up next. Use a Battle Rifle and some grenades to clear out the hallways, spend far too long in the hanger, and you’re ready to face the Drones. I tried a few times to kill a lot of them, but soon discovered that it was easier to just let everyone else deal with the Drones. More challenging than the Drones was the next area containing several Brutes and a Brute Chieftan. The strategy is the same as it’s always been: BR, Grenades, headshots, and sitting behind corners. I dropped some Deployable Cover down this opening to make sure I didn’t take damage from the fall. When it came time to fight the Jump-Pack Brutes for the first time, I sorta cheated. I rode the Pelican up to a small building to get a jump on the Brutes when they spawn up there. More hallways, a Brute with a Fuel Rod Cannon, arm a bomb, try desperately to get a Killionaire on the Drones but never quite get it, clear out the hangar once again, and Crows Nest is finished.
Did you enjoy the little warm up? I hope so. Things are gonna be a lot harder from here on out, because Tsavo Highway is up next. There are a lot of enemies in the Warthog areas. If you stick to the outer bounds of the map, you can avoid damage while a Marine on the turret does his best to clear out the area. To go forward from here, you need to disable an energy shield.
