In the world of educational video games, only a handful of games have broken through the glass ceiling and earned their place among the stars by achieving mainstream success and worldwide acclaim. But one game stands above the rest as a speedrunner’s nightmare and a broom handle's wet dream. Can You Beat Elmo’s Letter Adventure Without Killing Anyone?

Can You Beat Elmo’s Letter Adventure Without Killing Anyone? (in text form)
After we get through the game logos and other nonsense we’re greeted with this, Elmo trying his hardest to get away from a large yellow bird. Of course, with legs like that, I don’t think Elmo has much of a chance of escaping the wrath of Big Bird. And that face, yikes. That would have given me nightmares as a kid if I wasn’t already preoccupied with my nightmares about the Muppets coming out of the drain in the bathroom and dragging me down the drain to the sewers.
Anyway, the first big decision is what difficulty to play on. I’m hard, and I’m playing on hard. Now we’re on Sesame Street. I could hear horns honking and voices in the distance, so I tried to run into the street in hopes of getting hit by a car. Didn’t work. Then I thought, maybe I can wobble this pole enough that it’ll come loose and smash Elmo’s skull. Again, no. My last hope was that I could strangle Elmo with the balloon strings. But they’re embedded in the cement, and they’re Big Bird’s balloons, so they aren’t going anywhere.
I got a face full of the large yellow bird’s crotch, I blacked out, and when I woke up I was at Big Bird’s farm. He obviously drugged me, which is why I I’m seeing all these lower case letters. I avoided them and progressed through the corn maze until I reached a dead end. I’m Big Bird’s prisoner, and I’m not going anywhere.
Then I blacked out again. This time Bird glued me to a pogo-stick and did his best Night King impression. I must have broken the game by not picking up the letters, because it appears that the game is in some sort of soft lock. But I can assure you that Big Bird is not soft.
I restarted the game, could not avoid the gaze of Big Bird, talked to Grover, and went into space. I was given this go-cart and did a bunch of sweet tricks. My mission was to collect the letter “G”. I assumed that “G” stood for “God” because Grover is the only God in this crater. I collected a few G’s, got to the end of the level, and was in intergalactic space with unfathomable technology. I tried to fly into the sun to be cooked alive, but it didn’t work. The upside is that this is a true open-world experience. You can go anywhere and do anything. Rockstar could learn a thing or two from Elmo’s Letter Adventure. I collected the required amount of G’s, I’d tell you how many that is but I haven’t played Elmo’s Number Journey yet so I’m not qualified to speak on such matters, and went back to Grover’s crater from which there is no escape, where I collected the last G’s needed to beat the level.
Next came the real challenge, figuring out which letter was missing to spell the word “fish”. After a few minute of heated internal debating, I got it down to 2 letters: “N” and “F”. I trusted my gut and went with “N”, which was wrong. I picked “F” and was onto the next chall-
HOLY FUCK SHIT IT’S A FORK!
I am sorry, I’m not sure what came over me. Anyway, you spell “fork” with an “F” so I chose the “F” and was onto the last round. The last word is a tough one. Spell the word “goat”.

Lonesome Road is considered by many to be Fallout New Vegass most challenging DLC. The enemies encountered have survived in one of the most treacherous areas in any Fallout game and wield high-powered weaponry. But the question isn’t how hard is it, the question is… Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas’s Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage?

Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas’s Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
I then left Doc Mitchell’s house, made The Reunion my active quest to have a waypoint, and made my way to the Canyon Wreckage. I stood there for a moment, thinking about what kind of nightmarish [boop]storm I was about to walk into, I p[rear]ed through the wreckage, and took my first look at The Divide. I found the Hopeville Silo Bunker Entrance, tried to open the blast doors, failed, looted a few ammo crates, found an Arc Welder, and activated ED-E who has an [rear]ortment of memories inside him which sometimes inhibit his ability to be useful. I used him to activate an Automated Commissary that unfortunately didn’t have any useful weapons, but it did have a [flip]-ton of ammo available, so I sold my armor and healing items to buy some ammo that I thought might find a use for some time down the road, as well as some that I could use now.
After ED-E activated the blast doors and I restored the power, I saw a few of ED-E’s brothers, wandered around the missile for a bit, and got into combat for the first time. You know you’re in for a bad time when the first enemy you find is a Sentry Bot. I used quote a few rifle grenades on it then let ED-E do the rest of the work for me. A few Marked Men and a dead Sentry Bot were just up ahead. Something pinned a Marked Man to a wall by pushing a steel rod through both the Marked Man and the steel wall it was pinned too. Another bad sign.
I managed to take out another Sentry Bot all by myself, I p[rear]ed through some sort of an office, and Opened the Silo’s Bunker Doors. That was a mistake, because 4 or 5 Sentry Bots came online and dispatched of ED-E in seconds. I may or may not have had a hand in that by blasting him with a grenade or two. Either way, ED-E was down and out and I found myself trapped in a corner with multiple Sentry Bots between me and the rest of the Divide. I can guarantee that if it weren’t for that grenade rifle, there was no way I’d have been able to get p[rear]ed them. I was able to pop out from behind cover, shoot a grenade, and retreat before any of them could hit me. There were still two turrets left, and I had already gone through almost half of my grenades, but the Sentry Bots had been returned to their endless slumber.
I used the same tactic I used in my Companion Only video by backtracking through the Silo and exiting through the entrance to revive ED-E. The turrets were less of a threat than I thought they’d be, I looted all the mechanical corpses, went outside to Hopeville, and had a conversation with Ulysses for the the first time. He provided me with some backstory about myself, spoke dramatically about things that have transpired and events still have yet to take place, and explained that the Divide may prove to be the end of the line for me.
The small upside about Lonesome Road is that it’s fairly linear, your objective is pretty much to just put through the Divide by whatever means necessary until you reach Ulysses. The 2nd part of that linear path takes us through Hopeville, where there are quite a few Marked Men. They have high-powered weaponry and are pretty accurate, not that the weapons they carry matter all that much. It doesn’t matter if it’s an anti-material rifle or a nerf gun, the bullets [incapacitate] me instantly.

It’s often said that of the first three Halo games, Halo 2 is the hardest to complete on Legendary. And seeing as I almost beat Halo 2 without taking any damage, Halo 3 should be a cake walk, right? Can You Beat Halo 3 Without Taking Any Damage?

Can You Beat Halo 3 Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
Here’s how this works: every time I take damage, I reload the last checkpoint. It might take dozens of attempts to get passed a certain area, but doing it this way ensures that I do make it through without taking damage. Also, I’m not going to talk about every fight I get into. We’d be here for more than 5 hours if I did that.
Arrival is the first and easiest level because there are no enemies that could cause damage. Look at that, we’re already 10% of the way through the game. Next is Sierra 117, where we get into combat for the first time. Just like in Halo 2, there are a few ways to go about this. The first is to sit back with a precision weapon and pick off enemies. The second way is to sneak passed any enemies to avoid any potential damage. The third is to run forward and purposefully take damage to learn where the enemies are and what you’re going to be up against in that area. The last, and least effective way is to go in guns blazing. In a room with Grunts, that can work, but anything more than that and you’re asking for damage.
The first area is straightforward and not that difficult. What we learn here is that you can actually dodge shots from weapons like the Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle, and Spiker, which opens up a whole bunch of possibilities. 20 minutes in and we finally get the Battle Rifle. Take out the Brutes and Grunts with a few well-placed grenades, then the Jackals with Carbines, and we’re ready to rescue Johnson. My plan was to take out 2 of the Brutes near Johnson and then deal with the small army just beneath the cliff. But before I could snipe the Brutes, I had to kill the Jackal on a nearby rooftop. I used a Brute Shot to clear out the Grunts and Jackals, then let the Arbiter and Marines do most of the heavy lifting with the Chieftan. Once Johnson was free, all that was left was to sit inside the building and wait for the Pelican to arrive. I also put the Arbiter in the drink with a Gravity Hammer, because why not.
With Sierra 117 complete [45 minutes], Crows Nest was up next. Use a Battle Rifle and some grenades to clear out the hallways, spend far too long in the hanger, and you’re ready to face the Drones. I tried a few times to kill a lot of them, but soon discovered that it was easier to just let everyone else deal with the Drones. More challenging than the Drones was the next area containing several Brutes and a Brute Chieftan. The strategy is the same as it’s always been: BR, Grenades, headshots, and sitting behind corners. I dropped some Deployable Cover down this opening to make sure I didn’t take damage from the fall. When it came time to fight the Jump-Pack Brutes for the first time, I sorta cheated. I rode the Pelican up to a small building to get a jump on the Brutes when they spawn up there. More hallways, a Brute with a Fuel Rod Cannon, arm a bomb, try desperately to get a Killionaire on the Drones but never quite get it, clear out the hangar once again, and Crows Nest is finished.
Did you enjoy the little warm up? I hope so. Things are gonna be a lot harder from here on out, because Tsavo Highway is up next. There are a lot of enemies in the Warthog areas. If you stick to the outer bounds of the map, you can avoid damage while a Marine on the turret does his best to clear out the area. To go forward from here, you need to disable an energy shield.
