Here we have two opposite approaches: the Dodge Charger Daytona has external speakers and a fake exhaust soundtrack that's as loud as a Hellcat V8 and skips like a CD when you change settings. Sure. The Hyundai Ioniq 5N is virtually quiet outside but inside it sounds like a futuristic four-cylinder banging off the rev limiter.
Both companies tried really hard. One failed, one came close. But neither hold a candle to the real thing, and it'll be a long time before they do.
