“And so, our story ends....”

Well damn. Ain’t this surreal! Our time has come to an end my fellow witches. And what a journey it’s been! I cannot believe how successful this was as my first RP. So many were so invested in the story and characters, and I couldn’t be happier. Despite its flaws, I’m thrilled with the outcome of this contest.

First, my thanks to my co-judges. Olivia and Maria, you guys are the best damn co-judges I could’ve ever asked for. You were not only supportive the whole way through, but I would not have been able to come up with this story without you guys. So many wonderful ideas came from the both of you, and you were all fantastic helps on the judging and prompts. This contest would not have been as nearly as good without you both. I’m so glad you two were willing to help me expand on my small little prompt over a year and a half ago.

Now to my contestants, I’m so glad I was able to get such TALENTED people for my contest. You all are so creative, imaginative, and such great visual storytellers. The world building and story would not have been this enriching if not without all of you. You all expanded so much on the lore and your characters, it baffles me how my little contest was given this storytelling treatment that I never thought possible.

And now to my finalists. Johanna, I love your Jim so much. He has so much personality, and you probably had one of the most interesting character backstories out of everyone. The way you incorporated so much witch lore into your story and character (to the twins, the various mixed family members, the familiars) was so incredible. And your videos were breathtaking. The visuals were absolutely stunning, and it showed off best in your finale. Jim had one of the best well rounded completed arcs out of all the characters and I’m so impressed. Bella you’re writing is unbelievable. You’re patient with your reveals, but your timing is great. You write some of the funniest and most memorable lines ever. Your characters and their connections to each other is wonderfully told without any exposition. Despite some editing or pacing bumps, your writing was absolutely flawless and you were a master at tone and matching/combining the music to give some emotional, intense, and beautiful scenes. And Stacy, our winner. You improved so damn much over the course of the contest. You took all of our criticisms to heart and made sure to make every round better than the last. The dialogue improves, the pacing improves, the colors and editing improves. It all just got better and had us get all the more invested into your story and editing. You were good at the beginning and were FANTASTIC by the end.

If it were up to me, everyone could be a winner. But there can only one! And the twist is...there’s a prize!

Yes! The winner of the contestant will get three manips of her request, each edited by a judge. We will contact said winner (in this case TheNight130) with more details.
