“People are like prison cells at times. They’re a lot more worn down when you take a closer look at them…”

NOTE: This video was edited by me, and I will be the one judging this round.

The contestants slowly wake up to the sound of someone screaming. When they wake, they’ll see a man (Silas/Sinbad) being dragged away by guards, struggling to get free. As their vision clears, not only do they see the man but the prison bars in front of them. Nita goes up to the entrance of the cell to see Silas get carried away, but as she touches the bar handles, her hands burn. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Meg says. “It’s iron, it burns the ‘impure’.” The contestants slowly realize they’re trapped in the prison. But they’re not all in the same cell. They can only see the cell that resides in front of them, and can only hear each other through shouting. But they aren’t all alone in their cells.

“That man wasn’t the first to be executed,” said Meg. Meg informs the others that Tobias and Holli were burned at the stake earlier that morning while everyone else was passed out. Meg had been up for hours. She had seen multiple people get carried away, not just her new friends. During the many hours of the day, the contestants will have time to talk to their cellmate. The cells will feel cold and tainted. Our fellow witches can feel the energy of all those that have died there. But the day seemingly gets worse as some contestants begin to sense somethings.

In cell 1, Garrett will touch his hand on the wall and feel a series of markings. He brushes off the dust to get a better feeling, and it reads “||| I’m sorry Dia.” Meg will come over to inspect what Garrett is observing. When she does…she freezes. She puts her hand on the markings, and then she begins to cry. All of the contestants stop what they’re doing and listen to the person they cursed and blamed break down into a fit of tears. With Meg realizing Garrett is still next to her, she will simply say “He didn’t deserve to die like this.” If anyone asks her what the message means or who wrote it, she won’t say. Meanwhile, the contestants will see a ghost of a man (Proteus). But the man won’t respond or even look at them. He just looks at Meg…and vanishes.

Moments later, the guards burst into cell 1. Garrett braces himself, but the guards only snatch up Meg and take her. She struggles and screams “GET OFF ME YOU SON OF A BITCH”, but the guards just carry her away. The contestants know what this means: she’s next to be executed. The contestants decide (maybe after some discussion) to finally really attempt to escape the prison cells and save Meg. They put their hands on the bars, hissing in pain from the burning, and repeat the spell “Conteram per” over and over again. At last their collective magic works and the bars vanish. They all quickly run through the prison, but will suddenly get stopped by guards. And no matter where they go, they end up surrounded, no way to escape.

-You must show Meg’s breakdown (if you’re not near/in her cell, then you can simply have your character hear her crying)

-You must show Meg being taken away
-You must show your character breaking out of the cell and being cornered by the guards
