![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 3 - Riga + Lost Tunnels + The Bridge + Lost Catacombs
The first stealth mission. I actually managed to die due to throwing knives bouncing off armour and alerting everyone. Try to aim them well and you can avoid a heavy firefight. The large attack before Market station can be finished with very little use of ammo as Bourbon gives pretty decent cover fire.
If you come across Nikki at Riga, Im sure you already know to decline her invitation.

I edited the user.cfg with notepad in order to increase the FOV.
To do this you must edit the SICK_FOV value in the THREE user.cfg files located here:
C:Users[your username]AppDataLocal4A GamesMetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonmetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[random set of numbers]43110remote
Important: You need to keep the fullstop. I set it to SICK_FOV 65. Remember that Metro uses vertical FOV measurement rather than the common horizontal measure. A vertical FOV of 65 is a horizontal FOV of 90 on a 16:10 1920x1200 resolution. Setting it any higher might make some errors appear like seeing the end of your arms during reload animations or cutscene animations. You can try to see what you like best.
I just think the default FOV is ridiculous... and unfortunately, this is becoming way to common an issue for console ports nowadays. Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 3 - Riga + Lost Tunnels + The Bridge + Lost Catacombs](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9kTuux_519U/mqdefault.jpg)

![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 5 - Dry + Ghosts
The sneaking on this level is pretty easy since you can skip a huge amount by using the pathway inbetween all the crates. I actually died due to my throwing knife bouncing off the bandits armour... aiming for their sides where armour isnt present is a good option.
The bandit that just randomly falls over is actually killed by Khan from the shadows. Also, dont smoke the pipe next to the bandit unless you want your controls to be seriously confusing for about a minute or so. Right at the end I fail to kill the bandit silently, but you can just run like I did and make it to the cutscene.
The level afterwards is a cool but easy level with no real fighting there.
