California Drone Law Enforcement
This video on California drone law enforcement contains a very interesting comment by a viewer on my video discussing illegal drone flight operations. See link below.
The viewer worked in law enforcement and is a recently retired Commander from a large California city agency, and he is on the front lines of what law enforcement actions are taken during a drone call.
I will also go over the FAA.gov website and what the FAA hopes that local law enforcement will do regarding drone laws and remote ID.
The takeaway is that local law enforcement officers are very busy with their normal duties. The additional duty of drone law enforcement, without any addition funding or training, will not directly help matters. In short, recreational drone operations are a low priority for this law enforcement, from this person's vantage point.
