This video uses the PhET simulation "pH Scale" micro setting to explore the ratio of hydrogen (hydronium) and hydroxide ions in a number of solutions with varying pH levels. The video discusses how to calculate the pH, pOH and concentrations of ions in solutions of battery acid, drain cleaner, and blood.
