🎓 A milestone moment for CAL FIRE.
CAL FIRE celebrated the inaugural Company Officer Academy Graduation at the new Atwater Training Center on Friday, October. 24.
Fire Control Class 25-15 graduated 38 new Company Officers, marking the first ceremony held at the facility since it opened on July 7, 2025.
The Atwater Training Center expands CAL FIRE’s training capacity under the 66-hour work week implementation, creating more opportunities to prepare leaders for the field.
With this class, CAL FIRE has now graduated over 500 new Company Officers in 2025—and is on track to exceed 650 by year’s end.
