Kids are discovering the joy of nature at the Community Action of Napa Valley childcare center, where new trees, a lively garden, and plenty of green space to explore now bloom. This transformation is thanks to CAL FIRE's Urban and Community Forestry Green Schoolyard Grant Program, which helps expand green spaces in cities and teaches communities the value of trees. Community Action of Napa Valley and CAL FIRE staff celebrated the accomplishment by hosting a ribbon-cutting on July 24, 2025.
