Yes, we have lifeguards.

Most know us for fighting fire — but the CAL FIRE San Luis Obispo Unit also staffs the beach.

It’s the only unit in CAL FIRE with a lifeguard program, and crews are already training for open water rescue as the warm weather arrives. ☀️
