Kanalvogt SG | Cactus McCoy - Episode 9 - Bluescreen McCoy @KanalvogtSG | Uploaded August 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Yesterday, I wanted to do a recording session playing this game. During the enemigo chambers, the audio was suddenly buffering which meant that a BSOD was going to appear. I quickly turned off the screen because it freaks me out when the screen turns blue and a big, sad, smiley, a not so big text and a gigantic QR code appears without a warning.
The first time a freak-out happened to me on this PC was in late spring 2019. I wanted to write a text document while listening to music in the background. Later, I wanted to print it out, but suddenly, a BSOD appeared. I escaped from my room as quick as I could. The audio buffering freaked me out, but the blue screen with the giant QR code scared the sheet out of it. Someone turned the screen off for me. It happened again for 4 times after two weeks until I deactivated the driver verifier. Nothing happened again for two years until I was rendering a video and listening to music on YT at the same time. An audio buffering occured and the screen turned blue. Like first time, I escaped from my room like a cat. This time however, it didn't happen because of the driver verifier, but due to a CPU overload, so I don't multitask ever again while rendering a video.
The BSOD still had a trick in its sleeve. During this recording session, I didn't close all the programs before starting the recording and while I was in the enemigo chamber, it reappeared. Luckily, I didn't have to see it because I turned the screen off in time. I still have the video from this session, but it's corrupted. Now that I've learned from all the mistakes, I tried doing another recording session next day and my PC ran without any flaws.
