In this video, Butcher Hill, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Gremlin Graphics.
Vaguely inspired by the "Hamburger Hill" movie, Butcher Hill is a game set in the Vietnam war period. It has 3 stages each one different from the others:
The river: a Live and let die-like stage;
The jungle: a Platoon-like stage;
The village: an Operation Wolf-like stage.
Graphically ok but a little underwhelimng for a '89 game, Butcher Hill sports several good chiptunes, a good playability and low difficulty.
Here you'll find intro with stage's descriptions and gameplay.
Fun fact: The game was published as an Atari ST exclusive for 16 bit computers before being ported to other 16 bit platforms.
All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.
