In this video, Metro Cross, released in 1987 for the Atari ST by XXX
Based on Namco 1985 coin-op Metro Cross is a simple side-scrolling game, where we play a skater who has to pass a set of obstacles in order to reach the end of the level in a given time. In the play area, we can skate up or down and jump, if required. The more level we advance, the more they become challenging and obstacles are more frequent and hard to avoid.
Graphically faithful to the original arcade, The ST port is awesome. The scrolling is fast, the sprites are well drawn and animated, the sound is good and the playability is top.
