In this video, Freddy Hardest in South Manhattan a.k.a. Guardian Angel, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Dinamic.
Time to clean South Manhattan from criminals, drug dealers and... rats. The game is a side-scrolling beat'em up where we control Freddy, the tough guy that combat with fists of iron and flying kicks, in order to clean every stage from all the enemies that want some beatin'. We have an energy bar representing Freddy's health and, if he stops fighting and nobody touches him, he can replenish it. If the bar reaches zero, Freddy dies but don't worry, he has 5 lives in total.
The graphics are ok, with a not so smooth but decent scrolling and fast action. The audio is totally digitized from intro music till sound fx. The playability is barely ok due to undodgable damage and absence of variety in combat and gameplay.
