I started this project last year for a variety of complex reasons, the most important of which being I was bored. It's all registered now and floats great. I've taken it out multiple times and plan to take it out many more time! All in all, I it cost me about $600. $100 for each the battery and the trailer, and about $400 for materials to build the actual boat. Only thing I would change if I were to do it again would probably be to have consistent help throughout the project and try to get it down within 7 days. It was hot so I kept taking breaks, I worked alone, and I had no idea what I was doing. With a plan, better weather timing, and some help, I think that would be easily accomplished. Only problem is I have nowhere to put it!
