Using mainly wood 2x4 and about $40 of materials, I assemble a VERY cheap and sturdy DIY cockpit for simulator drifting and racing! Of course, you may need to buy or borrow a circular saw and a seat for your rig so it may cost a little more depending on what you have available. I had a spare Sparco Sprint bucket seat and Street Faction adjustable seat rail I picked up for my 240SX drift car, but for now they're going on the sim drift rig!
