Let's learn how to make a 2D platformer in Godot.
In this series I won’t just show you the final code. I will also teach you why we do as we do.
We will be creating platforms, moving the player, jumping on enemies and much more.
In this video, we’re taking a first look at Godot's Tilemap system.
We'll learn how to setup a tileset and start building our first tilemap layer.
I'll also introduce you to autotiles/terrains and how we can add collision to a tile.
I'm currently using Godot 4.4 for this series.
