Learn how to use the UsdMaterial node to create and edit USD materials directly inside Katana. UsdMaterial is a new node in Katana for creating simple materials, and accessing shader parameters and interfaces from materials in your scene, enabling you to make further edits.

In this tutorial, you’ll discover how to create simple, single-shader materials, as well as how to edit shaders or full material networks, providing you with the quickest way to make these tweaks natively with USD.
