Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee was the finalé artiste at the Kerala Literature Festival held on Kozhikode Beach. For his final rendition he performed Raag Mishra Pilu, a naturally sweet raag that was much appreciated by the three thousand-strong audience and earned him a standing ovation by the end of it.
Budhaditya-da was accompanied on tabla by his long-standing co-artiste, Soumen Nandy whose sangat got him frequent applause.
The event was supported by Raag-Mala, Toronto.
